Scrapbook Challenge

It's Wednesday, and that means it time for another Stampin' Royalty Challenge.  This weeks challenge was to create a scrapbook page.  WELL, it just so happens that I have a scrapbook I need to complete, so this is just what I needed.  I started an ABC scrapbook for my daughter Hannah for her 3rd birthday.  I am embarrassed to say that I only got to the letter "K".  I thought each week I would make a page and complete the scrapbook in no time.  August was her birthday and it still ends in "K".  Lucky for me, she is only 3 and does not really care that it does not end at "Z".  But we do look at the incomplete scrapbook a lot and I know she is going to be thrilled to have the page for letter "L"!  So, here is my Stampin' Royalty Challenge #99 project, just for Hannah! 

"L" is for ladybug!  Hannah was a ladybug for halloween last year and wanted to be it again this year, luckily, the costume still fit her. We all laughed so hard at the face she made for this picture, so I had to put it in the book, I am sure it will only get funnier as she gets older, right?  I got the idea for these punched ladybugs from a card that I saw on Andrea Walford's blog.  

I used the Red Glimmer paper for my ladybug bodies, they remind me of Hannah's favorite shoes; her red sparkly shoes!  Which she is wearing with her costume.

My Craft Project Central Creation!

I have created 3 projects using the Build-a-Bear dies to make gingerbread bears.  I love how it turned out! I am going to hang my banner in my kitchen for the holidays. The ornament would be a great tag on a plate of goodies for the neighbors.  And, I know the trifold card will get a special place when recieved this holiday season!

Stampin' Royalty Challenge #98

Time for Stampin' Royalty's Challenge #98, it's a SKETCH CHALLENGE!!! 

FUN!!!  I decided to do a Christmas card for my version of this sketch! 

I have been having a lot of fun with this set (Pines and Poinsettias #123762)lately, as I just had my Christmas Card class, using this set on Saturday!  I wanted to make a card that used the poinsettia and pine cone stamp on the same card.  Both of these stamps are just so pretty, every time I stamp the pine cones I am in love the image, it is so striking!  To make my stamped images even more striking, I pressed them into VersaMark ink (#102283) and then embossed them with Iridescent Ice embossing powder (#101930).  They are so sparkly!

Santa's Sleigh and Front Door Card

I have another project for November's issue of Craft Project Central to share with you today! This Holiday Ensemble was created by Heidi Baks and is November's Bonus Project!

I think this would make a special Christmas gift ensemble, sure to amaze the recipient.  The tutorial at Craft Project Central will step you through the process to create this adorable little Santa Sleigh and card, complete with felt and fabric pieces that beg to be touched!  The sleigh will make a perfect table center piece or decor item for the season!  This project is also a great holiday class or stamp camp project! November Recipe Card Club!

Okay, let's start with our dessert page and the treat I will be making for snack!  I love the colors on this page, but I am pretty sure you can not go wrong with brown, CHOCOLATE CHIP to be exact! 

This is one of my families go to dishes, simple, nutritious and YUMMY! 

If I made these biscuits everynight for dinner I would be MOM OF THE YEAR!!  You can not have a recipe collection with out this one!

Holly Berry Fabric Coasters

I have a fun, cute and easy to create project to share with you today.  They are Holly Berry Fabric Coasters, created by Julie Edmonds for Craft Project Central.  You can get the tutorial on how to make these by subscribing to November on Craft Project Central.  You will also get all 9 of the other tutorials for the month of November for just $10.  What a great deal!  

These fabric coasters are fun and easy to put together. Bundle a set of four coasters together and tuck them into a cello bag with a Christmas tag and you have a great Hostess Gift. A day of Stampin' to remember!

Yesterday was one of most fun days I have had in a LONG time!  A demonstrator friend of mine, Andrea, did something crazy at convention in August.  She asked one of her favorite Stampin' Up! employees what it would take to get him to come to Boise and be a guest at a demonstrator meeting of ours.  He said "tickets to a BSU game"!  (BSU = Boise State University, if you do not yet have Bronco FEVER, click HERE!)  So, Andrea made it happen!  And we had a day of Stampin' Up! FUN!  None of us knew who the special guest was until he was presented at the event!   We also had another FAMOUS Stampin' Up! demonstrator present that day as well, Becky Roberts!   Here are some of my pictures of this amazing day! 

This is what happens when you are with Becky, fun and laughter follow!  AND, GREAT stamping!!!

She demonstrated a handful of projects using the Sweets for the Sweet stamp set (#122512).  

Here is one of my favorite projects she showed us...

It's a gift tag on a bag of chocolates.  The tag is made with the new Peekaboo Frames Die (#124587), when you open the tag, it says "Sweets for the Sweet".  So cute!  

Here is Spencer Willis from Stampin' Up! was our suprise presenter.  He demonstrated for us, gave a very inspirational talk and sang for us.  We all went completely CRAZY when he demonstrated for us a some BRAND NEW THINGS from the upcoming Occassions Mini.  It will soon be viewable online for all demonstrators and begin mailing to customers in December.  I will just say the products he showed BLEW MY MIND!  I can not wait to get my hands on these new products.

Awesome, isn't it!!! I made this card to give to someone very special to me... ME!!!

Lastly, there were AMAZING displays, like this Advent Calendar...

It is just like the one in the Holiday Mini Catalog, but in Silver and White!  I can not stand how amazing this looks,  I almost droped it in my purse accidentally, but it was too big.  I have to get the 25 & Counting  stamp set (#123794)!  You know what I love most about this project, it was made by my friend Rebecca's son!  He is an amazing paper crafting artist! So, if your reading this, I love this project Phillip!
