I am thrilled to bring you my Pencil Shaped Card! I made it especially for the SSINK Inspiration challenge today.
I might be a little more excited about these than a person should be about a folded piece of paper. I just can't stand how cute they are. Are you with me???
This is the picture we where to use for creating our project for the SSINK INKspiration challenge:
The idea hit me like a ton of bricks and I was able to just crank this cute card out. That rarely happens that the card in your head works out when you attempt to make it. But this one really is easy and so it was quick to make. And I am here to help make it quick for you to recreate it. Follow the steps below to make your own Pencil Shaped Card.
FOR THIS CARD YOU WILL NEED:
Crushed Curry card stock: 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2"
Blushing Bride card stock: 2" x 4-1/4"
Silver Foil card stock: 1/2" x 4-1/4"
Sahara Sand card stock: 1-1/2" x 4-1/4"
Scrap of Basic Black card stock
Simply Scored Tool
Crushed Curry ink pad
Blushing Bride ink pad
Sahara Sand ink pad
Memento Black ink pad
Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
And that is it! I should note that if you put the eraser on as I have shown, this card will not fit in a standard A2 envelope anymore. You would need to make your own envelope or make a shorter pencil.
Thank you for taking time to visit my blog. I would love to know if you make one of these pencil cards!
Be sure to check out what my fellow designers made for this challenge at SSINK.
