Anyone out there who knows me knows that I love PINK AND BROWN! This stamp was a natural for that color combination! A brown mouse and a pink heart! And isn't he so cute! The Pink is Pixie Pink and the Brown in Close to Cocoa.
I made this card for a WOW swap that I participate in with other SU demonstrators.
I made the large scallop circle around the mouse using the slit punch and coluzzle. You first have to cut out a dough nut shape so that you can slip your slit punch in and punch scallops around the outer edge of the dough nut. Once you layer your focal image over the top, you can not tell it was a dough nut. I punched out a 1/8" circle on each scallop to tie in with the polka dot theme.
The smaller scallops are made with the Scallop Circle Punch, the layers are made with the 1-3/8" and 1-1/4" circle punches. I punched a 1/16" circle out of each scallop to match the jumbo scallop. Both small flowers are popped using a dimensional.
Love is in the details and I always add LOVE to my cards! I added DAZZLING DIAMONDS to the heart and flowers with 2 way glue. The ribbon is CHOCOLATE TAFFETA (love it)! In the center of the small flower on the heart is a CLEAR RHINESTONE BRAD from the PRETTIES KIT! Lastly I punched the corners of the Cocoa DSP with the TICKET CORNER PUNCH.
