WOW, it has been forever since I posted! Life caught up with me this holiday season. But I have been STAMPIN'! I have been playing with my new "Enjoy Every Moment" Set! I love it so much because it is the set SU! gave us at Regional Conference. They also showed us several ideas with the set. So, I took those ideas and put my twist on them to come up with the first four cards. The last one is my own creation. They are fun and fairly simple to create.
Sometimes it is hard for me to keep it simple. I wanted so bad to add more to this card, but it is okay to have a simple card that is clean and crisp. I love using my markers to get new images and sayings out of my stamps. Here I omitted the "EN" to get the word "Joy". You could even use this set for Christmas cards!
This was a fun card, I used my "Three for you Punch Box" for the cute little flowers. They go perfect with this set. I used three of the In Colors: Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, and Blue Bayou. And since we have all three colors in stitched ribbon, I had to use all three. The brads and stem are Certainly Celery.
This card is my favorite! I love the colors together. And I used a build a brad in the center of the flower. The fit just right on this flower and the small flower in the build a brad is also from this stamp set. I love how the Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink and Close to Cocoa go together. And the Designer Prints Paper is so fun in Close to Cocoa!
This last card I made for a swap that I am in. It is hard to see in this photo, but if you double click on it you can see better the glitter on the Guava flower and the word enjoy. I used Iridescent Ice embossing powder! Since we do not carry the "In Colors" in craft ink it may seem impossible to emboss with these colors, but it is not! Here is the trick: Ink your stamp with Versamark ink and then with the Classic Ink Color of your choice, in this case Groovy Guava. Then stamp it and pour on your embossing powder and emboss as normal! I love doing this with my "In Colors". The last little detail I added is some crystal effects to the center of the flowers on the Ginger Blossom DSP and the small flower on the focal image.
Try out these fun and quick cards with your own stamps sets. And if you have not had a chance to check out the Spring/ Summer Collection Catalog, you can do so on line. If you would like your own copy please contact me!
