I am FReaKiNG ouT over this new CHUNKY GLITTER! I love it!!! It comes in a pack of 4 with Black, White, Silver and Red Chunky Glitter. It is so fun. I know some people, okay I really only know one person (Pate) who does not like glitter, but I am sure there are others out there. If that is you, you may like this new Chunky Glitter a little better, because it is not a messy. Okay, some still gets in places that you do not want it to, but it is bigger so the clean up is much easier. If you are a glitter lover, like me, this is another fun product to add to your paper crafting collection.
On this card I added a strip of the Black Chunky Glitter with a strip of sticky strip! I have also used it with Stampin' Up!'s new Tombow Liquid glue which is a whole other post, and it works awesome! I have yet to try it with the new Sticky Cut letters, I have them and will soon be making a creation with those! So, watch for that as well.
Speaking of CHUNKY GLITTER, I just got my sneak peak copy of the Occasions Mini Catalog and I have to tell you one thing that is in there, MORE CHUNKY GLITTER! Certainly Celery, Iris, Light Blue and Light Pink are the colors! I can not wait to get my hands on that! You will have a chance to order from it MARCH 1st.
Now, more about this card, I have to tell you about the other fun stuff I used here. First, the stamp set! It is called Seriously Sassy, you have to check it out! It is so fun and would really appeal to teen and young at heart stampers! I stamped my image with Basic Black Craft Ink and then embossed it with clear powder. Then to make it thicker and more shinny, I immediately added more powder over the top while it was still hot, tapped off the excess and embossed it again. It still needed something to make it pop, so I got out the old blender pen and bleach! You dip your old dried out blender pen in the bleach and color! I love the look, it's unevenness adds to the funkiness of this card.
The Designer Series Background Paper I used is called Bali Breeze, it is a very versatile background paper, and two sided! One thing that I think is great is that two sides are solid colors, so you do not have to have the card stock to match to make something with it.
Next, FLOWER FUSION! They are Felt Flowers in Stampin' Up!'s exclusive colors! They are a great accent or focal image for cards and other projects as well.
Lastly I added Fire Rhinestone Brads to each corner and a Ice Rhinestone Brad to the center of my flowers. You gotta have bling!
I have fun playing with my new stamps and accessories, I hope you enjoy this card as well and make some FuNKy creations of your own!
Happy Stampin'
Carrie
