She's All That on a Carousel Note! Love it. This is one of the cards we made at my April Card Maker's Club. Of course the pack of Carousel Notes it assorted: Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi and Soft Sky! So each person got one of those colors. What is so awesome, is that Stampin' Up! has designed the Afternoon Tea Paper to PERFECTLY match! I think that is so GREAT!
So I have a picture of each color to share with you, cause they are so fun. And I could not help my self, had to make one in each color. But I think the Soft Sky one is my favorite.
But then look at the Guava! I, personally think that Groovy Guava and Chocolate Chip are a made for each other! Look how cute her dress is in this design.
And last, but certainly not least, Wild Wasabi!!! Hmmm, I do like how this
one has all the colors in it! See, you have to make one in each color!
Now for the details. I have to tell you how I made this card open.
I used my Coluzzle and took a piece of Whisper White Card stock, folded in half. Then I put my Coluzzle circle template on top of the WW CS, so that part of the template was off the paper, so that I did not cut where the fold was. Now I have a circle that opens. Super easy, but it would be hard with colored CS as it is a heavier weight. The Coluzzle blade is just not long enough. But you could trace a circle on the colored CS and cut by hand if you wanted!
You just have to try these Carousel Notes, they totally rock! There really is so much that you can do with them. I am planning a Carousel Note class for May, so watch for those details soon!
