So, Faux Dry Embossing is HOT right now, I had to try my hand at it. So, I have to say, mine did not come out as true Faux Dry Embossing should. I liked how it looked anyhow and decided to share it with you, because that is one of the things I love about stamping, even when you think you messed up the whole thing, you can still make something of it. So, I think mine looks more like a shadow...
How this works is...
First you stamp your image in Whisper White Craft ink.
Heat set it to ensure it is dry
Second Stamp your image on the Stamp-a-ma-jig imaging sheet.
Lay that over the top of your original image and move it ever so slightly to the right and down, just a hair.
Using the SAMJ positioner stamp your image again in this spot, using the same color of ink as your cardstock.
The end result is a stamped image that truely looks dry embossed.
I have a little too much white showing on my stems, and takes away that dry embossed look, I feel. But, as I said, I like how it turned out and so I used it anyway.
I think the baby is awake, that is all from me for now.
Happy Stampin'
Carrie
Wow! That really does look like it's embossed. I haven't tried this technique before. Thanks for sharing the instructions.

LOVE this! thanks for the instructions, I am definitely going to try this out... do you happen to know why you need to use Craft ink for the white? I was just curious, is it so that it is more vibrant and so it shows up? Anyhow, thanks again :)
