Finally I am posting the Birthday Banner that I made for my daughter's birthday party. If you have seen my past posts you know it was a Hello Kitty party.
Our colors were Pink Passion, Glorious Green and White, with hints of Yoyo yellow and Pretty in Pink.
I made this banner with my Big Shot and my Pennant Die, Serrif Essentials Alphabet dies, and my Hello Kitty Sizzix die. As well as my Boho Blossoms punch, 1/4" circle punch and Stickles Diamond Glitter. I attached each pennant to the next with Pink Grosgrain ribbon.
It was fun to make, and actually did not take as much time as I thought it would. I will be removing the Hello Kitty and using this banner again for Hannah's 1st birthday party coming up in August and then again for my birthday and then again for ... Let's just say I put a lot of love into this and it is so cute that it will be a family heirloom! hehe.
AND, check out my Hello Kitty Cake!!!
It was not as stressful as I thought it was going to be! I made a sheet cake. Cut it into an oval, then used the cut off corners to create the ears. The eyes and nose are Jumbo Jelly Beans I got at a candy store. The whiskers are licorise whips and the flower is a silk gerber daisy. I think she is so cute!
Thanks for stopping by, more to come... Hello Kitty Thank you cards!
Happy Stampin'
Carrie

Totally cute, Carrie! I just love that birthday banner. So, what was your daughter's reaction? Did she totally love it and feel extra special?
