Check out this beautiful rose! This is one of the cards we made this month at my Ladies Night Out. The rose is watercolored using the Ink Refill Watercolor spread technique. Not sure if that is the accurate name. However, you stamp your image with craft ink and emboss on Shimmer White Cardstock. Then you spritz it with water creating a puddle in each section of the rose. Next, collect ink, from a puddle you make with the ink refill of your choice, with an Aqua Painter. Touch the aqua painter to each puddle where you want that color to be. Repeat with additional colors. Let dry for about 30 minutes, cut it out and mount to you card! I used Mellon Mambo and Crushed Curry on this card. I love doing this technique, because each time the rose looks different. You have to try it!
Happy Stampin'
Carrie
Hey Carrie, I love your color combo! I wouldn't have thought of putting these two together. What a beautiful rose!
