I wanted to share with you the totally cute 3x3 valentines that I made with my daughter for her Preschool class tomorrow. I really wanted to use Sock Monkey for them, I think they turned out cute and it was fun making them with Samantha.
It was a lot of coloring for her and me, making 22 cards, but we did it.
Here is a close up of the prototype, which means I did all the coloring, glueing and such.
You can also see the mini envelope all stamped up. And, I added white gel pen dots to the scallop circle, cut from the Pennant Die, it fits the 1-3/4" circle perfect. Not sure if I will get to adding gel pen dots to the remaining 21 cards.
And here is the cutest part... Isn't that sweet, she is still mastering writing lower case letters, she got the "t". Anyway, that was lots of fun making Valentines with my girl.
Stamp with someone you love!
(that should be a bumper sticker)
Happy Stampin'
Carrie

So sweet! Love the sock monkey! I miss making Valentines with my kids (my baby is 17 and she is about as uncrafty as they come!) We would have a Valentine party in my basement every year with about 15-20 kids. We played dorky games and ate too much candy. It was so much fun!

Oh, those are so cute! I love little handwriting. She did a great job, and with such a (pretty) long name! My girl lucked out with a short 3-letter nickname for her preschool valentines. :) I posted ours also.
