Today I am sharing the third project I demonstrated at last weeks Stampadelicious Demonstrator group meeting. As with the first two cards I wanted to show off the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz, this time with the Presto Patterns Specialty Paper. It comes White with a clear embossed pattern on it. You can add color in several different ways, sponge, watercolor, brayer, or SMOOCH it! Which is what I did!
I thought the diagonal grid pattern went perfectly with the pattern on the icecream cone! Here is how I did it. I put the strip of Presto DSP into my Color Catcher and holding the Smooch Spritz about 10 inches away sprayed it 4 or 5 times. You then let it dry, I think I waited 15-20 minutes. Then I buffed the paper with a tissue to reveal the pattern in the paper! I love it! I can't wait to try it with other colors of Smooch Spritz.
You might be able to see the metallic shine of the Smooch Spray better in this picture. And, I have to say. I am in love with this Sweet Scoops stamp set! Maybe it is because I am in love with ICECREAM! When I planned this card I had in mind that I would give it to our neighbor girl, her birthday party is in an hour, she is turning 4, so I added 4 scoops!
Okay, we are off to prep for the party!
Happy Stampin'
Carrie
This is a great tip.
