Daddy's Little Deers!

This past weekend, Father's Day weekend, we went camping at CJ Strike.  It is a Reservoir about 1-1/2 hours from home.  We went do some fishing. I have to say, I think I caught the best fish! 
Anyway,  I had not yet made the card I wanted to for my husband for Father's Day, so I packed up my stampin' supplies, at least the few things I thought I might need, which was only one medium tote and my big shot!  Hehe.  It all fit neatly in the bath tub of our RV's bathroom!  I was able to create the card I had in mind and was pleased with how it came out, take a look...

 

And, the inside...

 My husband is quite the Outdoors man, hunting, fishing, archery, running, etc.  So, I thought this would be a cute card for him.  The "you know whoo" would be me!  And the little deers...

Here they are with Daddy after a yummy Father's Day breakfast of Cinnamon Roll Pancakes! 

 

It was a great weekend, we went with some friends and family and had a great time!

I can't wait to go camping again, 4th of July weekend!!!

Wrap it with Tin Foil!

I saw Connie Collins use tin foil with the new Square Lattice Embossing folder and I knew I had to try it!

It really is so super easy and check out how cool it looks! 

I love the Square Lattice folder because it is so versatile. You can use it for a masculine or feminine look!  So, I thought the foil would look AWESOME with the Motorcycle stamp!  

Here is how you do it.

Step 1

Take a 5-1/4 x 4 piece of card stock (color does not matter) and a slightly larger piece of regular house hold tin foil. 

Step 2

Cover the card stock with a glue from a glue stick. 

Step 3 

Lay the tin foil on top of the glue (I like mine so the shinier side is up) and press and rub to adhere it. 

Step 4

After you have let this dry for a few minutes, trim off the excess foil with scissors. 

Step 5

Now run this through your Big Shot with the embossing folder of your choice!  

Isn't that so fun and easy!

June Big Shot Club!

Yeah, it is time for more Big Shot and Stampin' Fun! This month Big Shot club is all about requests.  Several of the club members have requested to make projects using the dies I have incorporated in to the projects below.  Take a look...

Our first project is a card that uses the Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder and the coordinating stamp set Fifth Avenue Floral. 

I love how the Lavender Lace flower embossed with white powder really catches your eye and draws you in. 

Our next project is a FABRIC creation.  I am completely obsessed with making fabric creations with my Big Shot.  And flower brooches are very hot right now, so we are going to make one.  This picture is very similar to the one we will be making at club, just imagine this one with layers of brown tulle in between each layer!  I forgot to add mine in!  

 

I love the turquoise with the green and brown!  Turquoise seems to be the IT color this year! 

Lastly we have our bonus project.  This project also originated with a request to use the Fancy Favor Box at club....

I made a pocket on the front to hold a gift card!  I am pretty sure this box has to hold CHOCOLATES!!!
