One of the reasons I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is to help people express their creativity. It has always been a dream of mine to have my Mom and sisters stamp with me. But, as all my sisters live in different states this never happens. My Mom has really tried but, if you can believe it, stamping is just not her thing. She supports me in other ways, spreading the word about my business to her friends, buying my finished product and even hosting a workshop. But something truly magical happened on Wednesday!
My Mom has taken some great pictures and had a desire to turn them into cards with scriptures. This has been a dream of hers to create these cards and be able to sell them. I had mentioned using My Digital Studio a while back and Wednesday she came over to try it out. We created 3 cards and had lots of fun, my Mom LOVED it and said that this is JUST what she had been looking for! When my mom began talking about selling her cards and not sure how to go about that I then showed her how she could do that on etsy. At this point my Mom had a little tear well up, she then told me this had been a dream of hers. I can not even begin to tell you what it meant to me to be able to help my Mom take her dream and make it a reality, through my passion, Stampin' Up! Now, she is purchasing her own copy of My Digital Studio and is anxiously awaiting her print order to arrive. This will always be one of my fondest memories as a SU! demonstrator, what a great job this is!
So, let me show you her creation...
When we added the digital stamps she said, "now I can do this kind of stamping". Hehe!
When I knew my Mom was coming over to do this I practiced making cards using photos using some great photos my Grandma sent me of the flowers in her yard. Here is what I made...
Shhh, don't say anything, I am making a set of cards for Grandma for Christmas!
Thanks for stopping by and checking our digital creations and sharing my special memory!
Happy Stampin'
Carrie
