Today is Tell a Joke Day! So, in honor of my card I have a story and a joke...
Last week my girls and I went to the Zoo with my friend Britiney and her boys. During which time her son Jordan, who is five, told my daughter Samantha, also 5, this joke...
What is the difference between a Snowman and a Snowwoman?
SNOWBALLS!
After a little bit of parenting we found out, he heard the joke at the RODEO! Of course, they did not know what the joke meant, but I had to give him credit for remembering it! Kids are always good for a laugh.
Now, here is my Snowman card, created with my ALL NEW A Cute Christmas set from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog.
That snowman is so simple and cute! I Love Tempting Turquoise and Real Red together, originally I saw this card being Crumb Cake, Tempting Turquoise and Real Read, but it turned out white. I was really wishing This set had a snowflake stamp in it to use for the background, since it did not I used the Polka Dot embossing folder to dry emboss the background. Then I gently rubbed the Whisper White stamp pad over the polka dots, making SNOW. Kinda fun to think about snow when it is 100 degrees outside. I really wanted to add some snowflakes to the top half using our new Norther Frost Decorative Sizzlit Strip, but for some crazy reason, I did not pre-order that, thinking I would order it closer to the holidays, and now I NEED it! Probably because I got to play with it at my downline, Georgie's house on Saturday! Thanks Georgie, I will be ordering that one SOON!
RECIPE:

Happy Stampin' and take some time to tell a joke today,
Carrie
