WELCOME STAMPIN' FRIENDS!
Recently Stampin' Up! came to Boise, ID, my home town, for a Regional Seminar. I submitted a project to demonstrate and was asked to demo it at the Boise Regional. I was so excited! It was my first time demoing at a Stampin' Up! event. I was also excited to share my project because it is something I really love.
Here's how it all began... After seeing several stuffed owls online I decided I wanted to make one using Stampin' Up!'s fabrics! Then the idea came to me, after reading an article in the Stampin' Success Magazine,I could use My Digital Studio to create a pattern for the owl. So, not only would my owl be made with Stampin' Up! fabric, but it would be the same owl as our XL Owl Punch!!
The owl has been a BIG hit! Especially with my two year old, who immediately adopted the first Owl I made. I have to sneak the Owl out when I want to share it!!! And now, I am overly excited to share my Owls with all my blog friends! So, here are some pictures of my owls, AND! if you want to make your own I have prepared a tutorial for you!!! Keep reading for more details!
Brace yourself for cuteness!!!
THIS...is Rosie, the first Owl I made, with the Candy Cane Christmas Fabric.
This is Poinsettia, made with the Deck the Halls Fabric. Do you like her eyelashes!?!
This sweetie is Chrysanthemum, made with the Springtime Vintage Fabric, this is the one I demonstrated at Regionals.
This is Tulip, she is sure to get a Hoot where ever she goes! She is a pin cushion! Don't you love the new Sweet Stitches line! I used Buttons from the line for her eyes and the new Pompom trim to dress her up!
