Like I said the new catalog is Fabulous! This book is full of so many wonderful ideas, I have already made a few of them. One of the projects that I made directly from our catalog is a halloween treat box. It was one of the projects we made at my Catalog Kickoff Stamp camp Wednesday night.
Isn't that a fun little box to give a treat in! I only made a few changes from the sample in the catalog. I changed the Tangerine Tango (#111349) strip from a straight piece of card stock into a ric racked piece using the Tasteful Trim die (#120893). I also put a spider on mine, in the sample they used a bat, both images are from the Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set (#123946). Isn't that a super fun stamp set, and it works with the Bingo Card Stamp (#120851).
It may be hard to tell from this picture, but the numbers are chipboard! Did you know with the Big Shot (#113474) you can make your own chipboard pieces! I save cardboard pieces all the time, so that I can make my own custom chipboard pieces as I need them! For the "31" I used the Alphabet Simple Number dies (#115968).
Here's how to make custom chip board pieces:
First, adhere your paper (I used Rich Razzleberry card stock #115316) to the chipboard piece with an Anywhere Glue Stick (#104405), place this facedown on the die and cut it out using your Big Shot! Super easy!
