And Happy New Year! Time for a new year of fun challenges at Stampin' Royalty! This week it is a color challenge. A fun combination! I thought I would pull out a few of my new things from the upcoming Ocassions Catalog, it goes live TOMORROW!!! One of the things that grabbed me when first looking through this catalog was Swallowtail stamp. A giant butterfly stamp!
So pretty, I love it! I stamped the butterfly first in Soft Suede on Vanilla card stock, then on a second piece of Vanilla card stock in Not Quite Navy. I punch out various circles from the navy butterfly and lined them up over the Suede butterfly.
I tore away some of the vanilla card stock around the butterfly to reveal a embossed background behind it; the new Honeycomb embossing folder!!! It's a must have! The saying is a Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Sale-A-Bration starts on the 22nd of this month, yeah! There are lots a cool items to choose this year for SAB, you are going to love it.

Wow. Just wow. I love how you did the spotlight technique with the Not Quite Navy circles. I never would have thought of doing that...but it's so striking. Beautiful card. Wow.
