Merry Christmas in July!
Today at Stampin' Royalty our challenge is Christmas in July! I decided to use a piece of the Card Candy I got from a swap at convention, made by a gal in my group, Andrea Leeds.
Andrea made this snowflake piece with the Festive Flurry Framelits, the Winter Frost DSP and Silver Foil Sheets from the upcoming Holiday Catalog. I made a little change to the piece, by removing the silver snowflake and flippling the bottom dsp snowflake over.
Here is the card I made for Stampin' Royalty Challenge #187 with Andrea's card candy.
I dressed up the edges of the snowflake by brushing the edges of it with Versamark ink and then dipping it in silver embossing powder and embossing it with the Heat Tool. I added some rhinestones to each point. Then I mounted the snowflake on a piece of Island Indigo card stock and cut around the snowflake, leaving a thin border of Island Indigo, making the snowflake pop.
