Hi Stampin' Friends!
We are on our way to a family birthday party. One of the cousins is having a Minnie Mouse Birthday Party! We just had one ourselves for my daughter Hannah, infact they are borrowing my Bow Wreath.
I made this birthday girl the card I wanted to make for my daughter, but ran out of time with all the other party prepping there was to do. All I knew that I wanted to do was to make a Minnie Mouse dress from the All Dressed Up Framelits. This is the card that came from that idea:
This is a step card. You can see my other birthday step card HERE and there are directions on how to make your own step card on that post as well.
To make my Minnie Mouse dress, I had to make my own polka dotted paper. So, I punched out several Whisper White circles using my Cupcake Builder Punch and adhered them to a piece of Melon Mambow card stock, then I die cut my dress. I added the ruffle to the bottom that this from the tank top dress in the All Dressed Up framelits set. Here is a close up of the dress:
Can you see Mini Mouse in this dress??? I might wear this dress!
To complete the card I added some Minnie Mouse balloons, which I created with circle punches: 3/4" circle punch and the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch pack. The bow was made with the Owl Builder Punch: punch out two hearts and one circle from the Cupcake Builder Punch, glue the hearts together at the point and cover the points with the circle. The string of the balloon is from the Sketched Birthday set, which is the set I got the Happy Birthday Banner for this card as well.
I am excited to give this card!
