Hi Stampin' Friends!
I thought I would share with you all the fun things I have been working on for my daughter's 5th Birthday! She wanted to have a Minnie Mouse birthday party, I have been searching the world wide web and most of what I did for this party was inspired by that research. Including the invitations, which I made with the help of My Digital Studio!
This is the front of the invitation, which is a 7" x 5" post card. When you get your post cards printed from Stampin' Up! the come with very nice envelopes, which means I get to fancy up the back of the post card too!
MDS helped me with a few other decore pieces for my party.
A Minnie Mouse Subway Art piece:
Here is what the subway art looked like after I printed it out and mounted it:
At our party we did Minnie Mouse Manicures (pink nails with white polka dots) Here is a little sign I made in MDS for the manicure table:
The bow for this piece was created using the all new Gift Bow Bigz L Die in the 2013 Holiday Catalog.
I had some great helper at do the manicures at the party, my cousin-in-law Jen painted the girls nails.
And my husband did the white polka dots (love him!):
Another project I did in MDS to give my Minnie Mouse party that special touch were water bottle wraps:
And now for the COOLEST thing I made for the party. Well, I guess it is the thing I am most proud of, my Bow Wreath!
The bows, again were made with the Gift Bow Die. The Minnie Mouse element was made using My Digital Studio and says, "Hip, Hip, Hooray, we're glad you're here to stay!" The base of the wreath I made out of a piece of white chipboard (that comes in a pack of Designer Paper). I traced a larger dinner plate and then a small plate in the center and then cut it out.
The kids love the Bow-tique! Where they got to pick their headband and felt and create their own Bow Headband. Like this one my daughter is wearing.
Once again, we used the Gift Bow Die to make these fun headbands.
Here is the Bow-tique, you can see the cute banner I made for it across the top.
Here you can see the Happy Birthday Banner I made with my Big Shot:

Styrofoam ball, black spray paint, fun foam, hot pink feather trim, melon mambo card stock bow and lots of hot glue = Minnie Mouse Center Piece:
And how about some Minnie Mouse cake pops????
I am the FIRST to admit that my creative talents DO NOT carry over to cake decorating! I can make a YUMMY dessert but not a cute one. So, I know these are not perfect, but I am VERY pleased with how they came out! And, yes, they were DELICIOUS!
My oldest daughter helped me out with some decorations too. I asked her to draw me a Minnie Mouse so I could hang it up and I got these two cute creations:
We played a game of Pin the Bow on Minnie..
It was a fun party! Happy Birthday to my Hanny!
oh my word Carrie . . . you did a wonderful job. I bet the party was a blast and you have some cute pictures to keep the memories alive. very lucky little girl there. Thanks for sharing the fun.
