Check out this week's picture inspiration challenge! Love the colors and the Hexagons!
Here is my inspired card:
I loved the field of flowers with the green grass, so that is where I took my color inspiration. I got the layout idea from a card I saw on Pinterest by Valerie Moody.
For the background I knew I had to use my Honeycomb embossing folder! I gave it some more dimension by brushing some ink on it. First I rubbed my Crisp Cantaloupe stamp pad directly to my embossed background. Next, I rubbed my God Metaliic Encore Pad directly over the background. I also spritzed it with some Gold Smooch Spritz (retired).
The flower is made out of four flowers punched with the Blossom Punch out of Creped Filter Paper. After punching out my flowers I spritzed them with a mixture of Alcohol and Crisp Cantaloupe ink, which I mixed in a Stampin' Spritzer bottle. I used alcohol instead of water because it dries faster.
Even in this close up it maybe hard to see that I brused ink on the flower too. The center of the flower is a Simply Pressed Clay creation. I pressed the white clay into the largest flower mold. After it was dry I spritzed it with a mixture of alcohol and Early Espresso ink.
