Hi Stampin' Friends!
Stampin' Royalty Challenge #230 is a picture challenge.
Here is the card I made ...
The scrunchie flowers, as I call them were done with the 7/8" and 1-1/4" scallop circle punches.
Here's how:
1. Punch 5 scallop circles to make one flower.
2. Scrunch each circle up several times to distress it.
3. Fold four of the circles in half then in half again, creating a triangle shape. You can use a dot of Multipurpose Glue (aka Green Glue) as you fold the flowers.
4. Put a small circle of Green Glue in the center of the fifth circle. Lay down one triangle so the point is in the center of the fifth circle, point touching the glue.
5. Lay down a second triangle, next to the first, so that the folded sides of each triangle touch.
6. Lay down a third triangle, next to the last one, so that the sides match. The point is, the side of the triangle should always match the one next to it, wether is it the open side of the triangle or the folded side.
7. Let it dry. Scrunch it up and manipulate the flower as you like. Adhere the flower to your project with glue or dimensionals.
