I needed a card for my husband's uncle's birthday. I some pices left over from a card I made for Father's Day and decided to see if I could make the card a little different. Well, I went a little overboard I think. hehe.
The card is a bit busy. But I love the stamp set so much it is hard for me not to use ALL the images in the set wihen I make a card.
The Open Sea Clear Mount Set - $18.95
I also used the new Maritime Desginer Paper. I heart all things nautical.
Maritime Designer Paper - $10.95
Here is a recipe for this card:
stamps: the open sea, itty bitty banners
ink: whisper white, real red, night of navy, costal cabana
paper: whisper white, night of navy, maritime dsp
assessories: linen thread, 1/8" mini brads
tools: dots and stripes masks, sponge, dimensionals, paper piercer, plastic wrap (wad it up into a ball, tap it on a stamp pad, tap it on paper for a crackeld background)
