Did you see yesterday's post on my December Paper Pumpkin Kit and the BIG GIVEAWAY??? Check it out if not, because today I am using a "left over" piece from the All Shook Up December PP kit for my cards.
You can see how I have punched out all the stars that are on this sheet. Those stars are now inside shaker cards. I wanted to use this sheet for a card and there was a great "break" in the pattern right down the middle, so I cut the sheet in half. Half being 2-15/16", to be exact.
The were a perfect match for Stampin' Up!'s note cards. Here are the cards I made with this fun star paper and stamps from the kit.
I did have to trim a little off the top and bottom of the star paper, but I did that once I ahered it to the front of the note card, following the edge of the card with my scissors.
I layered my stamped images for the saying. The backgound piece I inked up and stamped it off, creating a lighter image.
The top stamped image was inked the Bermuda Bay, which, if you have been a PP subscriber for a while you should already have this color as it came in a past kit! The Whisper White square to stamp the background on is 1-1/2" x 1-1/2", I mounted that on a 1-5/8" x 1-5/8" square of Strawberry Slush card stock. To attach it to the card I used dimensionals. I used a few of the extra sequins from the kit to give the card some bling. A simple, quick and easy card, not to mention CUTE!
So, keep those "leftovers" and make something cute with them! With all the paper pumpkin kits you will have extras, leftovers, stamp and ink to use again and again. It really stretches the value of each kit.
