Tonight is my Customer Apprecitation Party! I thought I would share with you the party favors I made with my Envelope Punch Board. My friend Cheryl showed me these cuties and I knew I had to make them!
They are pretty easy to make. Here's how:
1. Score at 2-1/8" x 8-1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock at 5-1/8" and 5-7/8".
2. Using your Envelope Punch board punch the strip at 2-1/8", flip the strip over and punch it again at 2-1/8" so that you have mirrored punch you just did. Repeat this step at the other end of the strip. You have created the "neck" of the snowman.
3. Fold on the score lines, matching up the head at the top. Decorate the snowman as you like.
Here is what I used to decorate my snowman
hat: 2" x 2" square and 1/2" x 2-1/2" (corner round the corners on the top of the hat and all four corners on the brim), 1/2" x 2" strip of designer paper, holly berries and leaves - Build-A-Bear die (retired)
eyes: Itty Bitty Punch Pack - circle(retired), (accent with White Gel Pen to give light to the eyes)
nose: Merry Minis Punch Pack - ornament (top trimmed off)
cheeks: sponge daubered on with Blushing Bride ink
mouth: hand drawn in using the Project Life Journaling Pens
scarf: Real Red Satin Woven Ribbon
buttons: buttons embosslit (retired - use the Little Pieces Embosslit instead)
arms: twigs found in the great outdoors, hot glued to the inside
tag: merry christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes punched with Word Window Punch and secured to arm with Linen Thread
Fill your snowman with a treat. I used mini York Peppermint Patties and adhered them inside with Sticky Strip. You could also use those super delish Ghirardelli squares.
If you have any questions about how to make these feel free to leave me a comment. I'm here to help!
