It's Stampin' Royalty Challenge Day! Challenge #258 is a picture challenge.
Right away I knew I wanted to make a Christmas tree out of stars.
I cut a 2" x 4" strip of Whisper White Cardstock into a triangle. Perections did not matter as I was covering it with stars. Then I punched out stars from 4 different papers; Silver Glimmer Paper, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, Silver Foil Sheets, and Brushed Silver Cardstock. I punched about 12 of each star using the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. Next, I randomly glued them to the triangle I had cut. I started at the bottom of the tree and worked my way up. To give the tree a 3D effect I used dimensionals to POP it off my card. Now it looks like it would fit right in with the silver trees on that mantle in the inspiration picture.
I cant tell you how much joy sitting and creating a card like this gives me. I hope this Christmas, that you find your joy too, weather it is in card making or something else that you love!
Here are the cool things I used to make this card:
