Did you happen to see this months Paper Pumpkin Kit? Here is my blog post with all the details, incase you missed it.
I like to get the most out of my kits and if 24 valentine treat bags is not enough then check out this card I made using the negative pieces. The negative pieces are the scraps of card stock you have left over once you have punched out the die cut pieces you need to make the orginal projects. In this case it was a sheet of hearts and tags.
I cut a row of three hearts off of the sheet of 12 for this card. It is exactly 5-1/2" long, like they knew we could use it to make a card out of later!
I put a piece of Blushing Bride card stock behind it and stamped 3 of the images from the Filled with Love stamp set that comes in the January '15 Paper Pumpkin kit. The middle heart I embossed with Gold Powder.
I also used a strip of the left over sheet of tags for my arrow.
Then I flagged the big end, cut the strip to the desired length and added a heart for my arrow tip.
BTW, don't you love that new embossed heart background. I thought I loved it until I ran this paper through my big shot and got to see it in real life and now.... I absolutely adore it and can't get over how cute it is! LOVE??? yes indeed, I do love that embosing folder. Another love on this card is that baker's twine; Blushing Bride with a touch of metallic gold! I'm really going to try and not hoard it!
