Today is a very exciting day!
First of all today the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Catalog go live! You can now order from the Occasions Catalog and get FREE items from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog!
The second exciting thing happening today is my first post on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration blog as a new designer! Today's post is about VALENTINES! I have been dying to ink up this new stamp set called Wood You Be Mine! The lumberjack is so dang cute! And it's a Two Step Stampin' set! There are two images to the lumberjack, his image and a second piece to stamp his shirt a solid color! That makes me so happy! For my lumberjack Valentine card, his shirt had to be red.
All the stamps I used to make this card are from the Wood You Be Mine set. To color the Lumberjack I used Blendabilities Markers: Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Smokey Slate and the Skin Tone Assortment.
These markers are just too much fun! I just adore the look you get, makes me love coloring again!
I used a TON of dimensionals on this card! Everything is "popped" up, I just can't help myself really. Another thing I love is all things woodgrain. So this stamp set was right up my alley, even if my guy is more of an army sergent rather than a lumberjack type. I had to pair the Woodgrain embossing folder with this set for my card, which looks AMAZING on Whisper White cardstock!
Okay, I think I am done raving about my card, thanks for listening!
Here are the cool things I used to make this card:
