Today at SSINKspiration we are using Paper Pumpkin kits for our creations.
I am using the February Kit, Layers of Gratitude for my project. You can see the Accordion cards that you make with the kits contents here. And you can see the card I made using the "left overs" here.
But I am REALLY excited about this creation! I took the out line of the felt letters, trimmed it down with an X-acto knife and stuck it to the clear sleeve that goes around the Tag a Bag Gift Box.
You can see here that I stamped the box. I LOVE Polka dots and there happens to be a very nice circle stamp in the Layers of Gratitude kit that is perfect for making a Polka dot background. I also used the tissue paper from my kit (every kit, every month comes wrapped in this Pool Party color tissue and I always save mine). I stamped it with one of the stamps in the set. And wrapped up my imaginary gift. Not sure what I am going to put in there yet or who it is going to. But it is ready when I do decide!
The tag I added is from the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit. I stamped it with the stamp set from the Layers of Gratitude kit, it is a really great stamp set.
I tied some Calypso Coral PomPom trim around the box, then I tied my tag to this using the baker's twine that came in the Paper Pumpkin kit. And I added some Gold Sequin trim in there too, got to have some bling!
Here's how you can join Paper Pumpkin.

Very clever way to use something most people would throw away! Btw, do you have somewhere on your blog where I can sign up for blog post e-mails? Thank you, Mary
