Today I am excited to be sharing one card that I created for both of the blogs I design for. I put two challenges into one card. The challenges are:
Stampin' Royalty Challenge #269 - EMBOSSING
AND
SSINKspiration Challenge - Simply Pressed Clay
I have been wanting to use the Love is Kindness stamp for a while now. Doing an embossing challenge was perfect for doing "emboss resist" with this image.
I embossed the image with Versamark Ink and Whisper White embossing powder on Shimmer White card stock. Then, withe an aqua painter I picked up some ink from the lids of my stamp pads and watercolored over my white image. The ink resisted the embossed image and only shows up on the paper. After this dried I highlighted parts of the image with the matching markers.
I also DRY embossed the pink card stock on this card with the new Spring Flowers Embossing Folder and my Texture Boutique.
For the SSINKspiration challenge of using the Simply Pressed clay I had to use the new Alphanumeric Mold to create the word "LOVE" for my card. The clay is so light weight and adheres so easily to the card stock with green glue, making it perfect for paper crafting projects.
They really look cute enough to eat, like a little butter mint! I loved making them and having something new and fun to use on my projects.
Here are all the cool things I used to create this card:

This is such a beautiful card Carrie. I love the colors and the stamp set is to die for.
