Tonight is the night, the Late Over Birthday Party. Late over is this mom's version of a sleep over! I love giving my girls fun home birthday parties. But I am not the best at party games. I try, but what I really love is a birthday party craft project. Your shocked I know! But you got to go with what your good at.
Sooooooo, we are making journals at tonight's party. And, of course we are using the Perfect Peacock stamp, as it is the focal point of our theme! You can see the birthday banner here and the shaker frame for the party decor here.
Each girl will be making her own journal, like this one.
The journal itself is one that we carried in our Occasions catalog that recently retired. I stocked up on them. Then I realized that I might be a few short and found something similar at the craft store.
My favorite part about this peacock is that he is embossed with Gold Embossing Powder!
The girls are going to get to be artists in my stamp studio and color their peacocks with Aqua Painters. I think they will love seeing the Peacock changes from a simple stamped image into a gold embossed image and then making it their own by painting it.
I'm excited! How about that fun designer paper on the bottom of the journal! It is from the Bohemian Designer Series Paper pack.
These are the colors I have been using for the party, inspired by this paper! Blackberry Bliss, Elegant Eggplant, Delightful Dijon, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo. We also used this paper for the party favor boxes, you can see them here. I have one more fun decor item I am about to finish up that I will be sharing with you soon and it is made with this fun paper! Can't wait to show it to you!
