Stampin' Royalty Challenge #295
I have to say I was challenged with these colors! I just did not know what stamps to use. Then, I saw a card layout on Pinterest that inspired me, picked my stamp set and away I went.
The background is the thing I really love about this card. I spritzed it with Lost Lagoon ink in a Spritzer bottle. Just mix rubbing alcohol with about 20 drops of ink from the Ink Refill of your choice and have some fun.
And this little snowman from Snow Place, he's so cute! I got the entire card done and I thought, he needs a bow tie. Ear muffs and a bow tie, now that's the kinds of snowman that melts my heart! All of the stamps I used on this card are from the Snow Place set, so many stamps to play with you can make a lot of different snowy scenes. Like my other snowman card or my penguin card.
I love texture on my cards! And Burlap Ribbon, it just makes me happy. It's rustic, and sturdy and a little messy. But Mr. Burlap is not about to apologize for it, nope, you don't like it, he's gonna take his hat and ride off his palomino. Then there is Venetian Lace trim, she is so pretty and delicate and proper. She so sorry that her edges curled up in a few spots. She so beautiful you don't care and want to invite her in for tea. These two are a match made in heaven.
Mix up the texture on your cards, play with different ribbons, it's great fun being a little match maker!
Here are all the cool things I used to make this card:
