Today at SSINK we are making birthday cards for kids! Which is perfect because one of my dearest friends daughters is about to turn 9. Her birthday theme is Under the Sea, so I pulled out my You're Sublime stamp set. I just so happen to have a left over kit from my August Stamp Club for this card. I changed it up to make it girly with some fun bling and added the 9 to showcase the new big girl age!
Want to take a close up look at my blender pen work on Little Miss Crabtastic?
I have found that when you want to color images with a blender pen our Shimmer White card stock is AMAZING! I used Melon Mambo ink to color her, she's looking pretty cute in pink I have to say!
The star is punched from Gold Glimmer Paper with the Medium Star Punch and then I rounded the corners with my Paper Snips, giving it more of a star fish look. The "9" is die cut from the Little Numbers Thinlits, giving the card a personalized touch.
Here are the fun things I used to make this card. Click on any picture to see it in my online store.
Be sure to check out the other Kids Birthday Cards on SSINK today!
*****Today is the first day you can order from the new Holiday Catalog! Didn't get one in the mail, view it on line by clicking on the picture, or leave me a comment requesting a Holiday Catalog and I will mail it to you!
