Snow Place color challenge

Do these colors make you think of winter and Christmas?

Me either, but I added some Real Red and a penguin to the mix and turned out a Christmas Card for this weeks color challenge at Stampin' Royalty.

I used a Delightful Dijon marker to color the penguins beak and feet. I know I stretched the limits on this card but I really wanted to think outside the box and do a Christmas card.

All of the stamps I used to create this card are from the Snow Place stamp set and I used the coordinating framelits to cut out the penguin, scarf and candy cane.

I'm going to let you in on a little insider secret here, you can make any card a WOW card with the addition of GLIMMER paper! We have it in FIVE colors, which pretty much makes me hyperventilate. I have pictured them here for your viewing pleasure.
