Today I am so excited about this week's Stampin' Royalty Challenge, STARS!
I recently made this Woven Star Christmas Ornament with my downline at our monthly Stamp Crew meeting and I had to wait for this challenge to share it with you! What I love about them is that it only takes a 6" x 6" piece of Designer Paper, it's fun to make and turns out so cute!
I used the Merry Moments Designer Paper Stack for these ornaments. Like I said you only need one sheet of 6" x 6" piece of paper to make this. Take that paper and cut it into 1/2" strips, creating 12 strips. Then you do some glueing, weaving, bending and more glueing.
Here are all the things you will want to gather to make these ornaments:
- a 6" x 6" piece of designer paper (Merry Moments Designer Paper Stack used here)
- a Stampin' Trimmer (to cut your paper into 1/2" strips, for a total of twelve 6" x 1/2" strips)
- Multipurpose Liquid glue
- 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch
- Gold Cording Trim
OPTIONAL items to decorate the star:
- Metallic Foil Doilies
- 1" circle in Cherry Cobbler card stock
- Seasonal Snapshot 2015 stamp set
- Old Olive Ink
- Whisper White card stock
- 7/8" scallop circle punch
- Dimensionals
Now that you have your items, watch my tutorial and see how to make the Woven Star Ornaments.

Your instructions were SO CLEAR that I made one of these the day after watching, and didn't have to re-look. This is a fun, easy and pretty way to use two-sided DSP!
