The challenge this week at Stampin' Royalty is BABY! I love using the Owl Builder Punch for baby cards. So, I made a sleepy little owl.
The branch he is sitting on I just drew on a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock and cut out. Another element I added by hand is the words "on the new baby". If you have visited my blog in the last month you know that I am learning a new skill, brush lettering. It is now my new favorite thing to add to my card creations.
Something else I love about this card is that I was able to use up some of my Christmas and Fall Designer Paper!
The Soft Sky stripped piece is from the Season of Cheer Collection and the small brown flags are from the Into The Woods Collection. I love that Stampin' Up!'s papers have patterns that can be used anytime of the year so I can get more use out of them.
