You may have notices that I LOVE the Happy Scenes stamp set and coordinating Fraemlit Dies. I keep thinking of new ideas to do with my little window scenes. Last week I covered my scene with glitter. This week I added some snowflakes to the window and a little village on the window ledge. The village is my favorite part. I die cut the little houses using the Sleigh Ride Edgelit Dies.
This card was inspired by this week's Picture Challenge at Stampin' Royalty.
Isn't it so pretty! I love the brick wall in green with a blue door. That's what really inspired me to make this card.
If you look closely you can see that I used a window sheet on the back of my die cut window and stamped the snowflakes on the window sheet like frost on a window.
The sentiment was partially stamped and partially hand lettered. I stamped the word "PEACE" with Night of Navy ink and the "on earth" I hand lettered with a Pear Pizzaz Stampin' Write Marker. Then I sponged the edge of the banner first with Pear Pizzaz ink and then with Night of Navy ink.
