Hello Stampin' Friends
Today is one of my favorite kind of days. I am off to a Shoe Box Swap with my team. Every three months we get together to stamp! Each person plans a card/project and brings all the materials to make that project. Then we all stamp each others projects! It's so much fun. And we do a Pot Luck style lunch. My Beef Stew is simmering away right now.
I wanted to show you the card we will be making. I saw this idea on Patty Bennent's blog and thought it was so fun.
It's a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of card stock, scored at 4-1/4" and 8-1/2". The whole punched into the card is done with a 2" circle punch.
I dressed my card us using the Party Wishes Bundle and the It's My Party Designer Paper Stack.
It opens up like this.
And then again, like this.
And now we are at the inside of the card. I added a pocket to the middle panel for a gift card. I have decided I love getting gift cards. I love going shopping for something I really want. Or going out to eat and not having to worry about the bill.
Shannon West at Stampin' Up! is starting a movement,#imbringingbirthdaysback . Brilliant idea, and I totally agree! It's time we ink up those rubber stamps and send people some birthday love! Gift card or no gift card, this day in age it is kind of special to get a card for your birthday in the mail, let alone one that is hand made. That's why my March Stamp Club is going to be all about BIRTHDAYS! So, if you like this card watch for my March Stamp Club information. I will have kits by mail as well as a live class.
If you'd like to see the fun projects I will be making today at the Shoebox swap come find me on Instagram, I will be posting all day, sharing the fun with you!
