This is the picture that inspired todays card.
I love this stamp set, Honeycomb Happiness! It is one of the current Sale-A-Bration stamp sets. And that means that you can get this stamp set for free with a $50 Stampin' Up! order. It just has the cutest images, like that chick!!
I had to add some frilly lace to this card, because I also loved the dress in the inspirational photo. So, I pulled out my Tip Top Taupe Lace Trim.
And to give my card a little more of the ice-cream cone feel I embossed the background with the Tiny Triangles embossing folder.
To color my ice-cream cone, I use the Crushed Curry and Crumb Cake Stamp pad. I squeezed the pad so the lid touched the pad, collecting ink on the lid. Then I picked up some of that ink with my blender pen and colored away.
