Hello my Stampin' Friends!
Today I am sharing a Monochromatic card I made for the challenge at Stampin' Royalty!
For this Monochromatic challenge I choose Calypso Coral and Cajun Craze with a touch of Copper! Incase you'd like the technical definition of Monochromatic I am sharing it with you here:
Monochromatic colors are all the colors (tints, tones, and shades) of a single hue.
Monochromatic color schemes are derived from a single base hue and extended using its shades, tones and tints. Tints are achieved by adding white and shades and tones are achieved by adding a darker color, gray or black.
It is more than using just ONE color, it's all about tints and shades. And Calypso Coral is a tint of Cajun Craze for sure! I am a little excited about this as I just taught this concept to my daughter's 6th grade art class last week at our Co-Op. It might be a homeschooling mom geek out moment.
There is so much I love about this card, first, the FOX. I adore the Foxy Friends stamp set! All things woodland just make me happy.
Which leads me to my second love on this card WOODGRAIN! Woodgrain is my favorite image in paper crafting.
Lastly, the copper pinecone charm! I seriously can't even stand how cute that little thing is!
If all things woodland make you happy, you need these little charms!
Here are all the cool things I used to make this card.
