Today's Challenge at Stampin' Royalty is sharing our Favorite Technique. Mine is Shaker Cards!
This shaker card was easily made using the Balloon Pop Up ThinLit Dies by Stampin' Up. I just die cut the front panel and then was able to stamp and die cut the coordinating pieces to dress up the blue die cut panel.
I filled my shaker card with glitter, light blue, green and iridescent chunky glitter that I had on hand.
The Designer Paper is used is called Party Animal, isn't that the cutest name. And there are some pretty fun patterns in this paper. The cards I have been making with this collection are great for kids. But could also work for almost anyone.

I just couldn't stop playing with these fun things, this die screams to be turned into a shaker card.
If you have never made a shaker card before here are the basics:
~ line the back of your opening (in my case the die cut balloons, the cover piece) with a sheet of acetate, also called window sheet
~ on the back side of the cover piece now backed with a window sheet, add foam adhesive strips (I used these) all around the edge, so that none of your shaker elements can escape
~ add the shaker elements right onto the window sheet, have fun with what you use in your shaker card!
~ remove the backing from the foam adhesive strips
~ add the back panel, a piece of card stock or paper cut just a hair smaller than the cover piece
~ lastly, mount this to a card
