Hello my stamping friends.
Today I want to share with you the changes that are going on in my life.
On May 2nd I resigned as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Over the last year I have struggled with the direction I want to go in my paper crafting business. I had lost some of the joy in doing what I do. I thought, prayed, cried, considered, made lists, talked to friends, waited, took breaks, researched and was frustrated. After going through all of this I came to the realization that Stampin' Up! was no longer the right fit for me.
I have been a demonstrator with Stampin' Up! for almost 18 years, so the decision to resign was very hard for me. I am a different person because of Stampin' Up! I learned how to be okay talking in front of groups of people, which is huge for me. I made amazing friendships that I otherwise would not have had. I became a business woman. I became a leader. I will always have a special place in my heart for SU!
But, that being said, it is time for me to move on. It is time for something fresh and new. And through the journey I have been on over the last year I did learn that I LOVE paper crafting. Bringing plain paper to life and creating something new that brings joy to others is what I am good at. And I can not help but share that love with other people. So, I looked for a way that I could continue to do those two things as my job. The answer came in the form of Fun Stampers Journey.
As of June 1st I will be a coach for this new paper crafting company, Fun Stampers Journey. I love that the word "journey" is in the name, because it was a journey for me to get to this place. I am looking forward to embracing the new and continuing to do what I love and sharing that with you.
What will not change? My blog will not change, I will continue to post here and share with you my creations. My classes will not change. I will continue to host fun stamping events in my stamp studio so we can create together. My Facebook page will continue to keep you updated on all that I am doing and share with you my transition on this journey. On Instagram I will keep sharing all the things I find exciting.
You will start to notice that the colors and company name will be different. Currently the link to my online store does not work, soon you will be able to shop for FSJ products with me and view the soon to be released new catalog. I would love to answer any questions that you have and am here to help you with all of your paper crafting needs. If you need a Stampin' Up! demonstrator please let me know and I can hook you up with someone I know that will be great for you.
Thank you for being a part of my journey, for allowing me to share with you what I love and I hope this will not be goodbye.
Happy Stamping,
Carrie
