Hey Stamping Friends! Wow, yesterday was amazing! I had so much fun with my friend, team mates, and customers participating in the RG Presents Event - Journey Holidays Kick Off.
I hosted the event at my house and had 9 guests. I wanted to make them all a party favor. And in this party favor I wanted to include something cute that I made. That cute thing is what I am sharing with you today.
It's a little note pad holder and the note pad is a fun shaped sticky note pad.
I've had these note pads for a while, I got them at IKEA a few years ago and had yet to use them all. I thought they would work great inside this holder.
See that super fun background? I used Pan Pastels to create this soft look. First I stamped the Deco Dots Background stamp with Clear Pigment Ink. Next I used the Party Pop PanPastels with a sponge applicator. I rubbed the lighter blue, Beach Breeze, on the left side and the darker blue, Beach Ball, on the right. It was easy to blend these two colors together in the middle.
The focal image is from June's Bloom Box's stamp set, Fun Cards. I stamped the image with my favorite black stamp pad, True Color Fusion Black Licorice. Then I colored the image with my Color Burst pencils. For the final touch I add some Journey Glaze to the top half of the fan as well as the word "fan".
To complete my party favor I put the note pad in a cellophane bag, added some chocolate and a sample of Journey Glaze.
The topper for the bag is very simple. The sentiment is from the Creature Comforts stamp set. And I featured a NEW product that is coming out in our Journey Holiday catalog on August 1st, they die cut bow.
