I love that the name of the stamp set I am featuring today is called To You. Because the card I am sharing is for my Birthday Party Stamp Class. I am having a stamping party for my birthday! I just really wanted to stamp with my friends for my birthday this year! So, I designed 3 bright and fun birthday cards that we are going to make.
Today I am sharing one of them, that is inspired by one of the cards in the June Bloom Box (you can see that post here, I'm sure you can spot the inspiration card easily).
The To You stamp set is one of the sets I got in my Journey Coach starter kit. And guess what, this set has a coordinating die set, so you don't have to cut those cakes out. (The green line indicates the dies.)
I used the Star-Dom die bundle to make the back ground and the black stars. The background was done just by laying out the piercing stars and running them through the Platinum Die-Cutting Machine. For the Black Licorice stars I used both the star dies and the piercing stars. To dress my cake up I added some Journey Glaze to the candles and heart. And topped it off with the Black Licorice Twine bow.
I am really looking forward to stamping with my friends, when you stamp, you make friends with people you may not have met otherwise. It really is my favorite thing about being a Journey Coach.
