Hi, I am back today with card #2 made from this print I pulled from my Gel Press.
To learn more about how I made this print you can read yesterday's post and see the 1st card I made with it.
Today's card started with this piece of the print.
I stamped over the top of it with the Canvas background image, but inking it lightly with my Black Licorice ink pad and pressing the paper onto the stamp with a light hand as well.
Then I die cut a bat from printer paper using the Journey Blooms Holiday Die Set and used that as a mask. I laid it on my background and sponged on some Black Licorice ink. I left the mask there and splattered on some Silver Silk as well.
While I had my sponge out I sponged a piece of Special Day Organza Ribbon with the Black Licorice ink, I love how some spots are darker and others lighter.
I mounted my card to a panel of Citrus Cooler card stock and tied my ribbon around the card. I wanted the ribbon to me a little more "spooky" so I ruffled it up a bit by heating it with my Heat Tool, which melts the ribbon slightly giving it that ruffled look.
Then I was able to add my embossed sentiment from the Holiday Celebrations stamp set. And some stars in the back ground as well.
Can you see how the ghost looks darker and shiny? I added some Journey Glaze to him.
Here you can see all the fun things I used to make this card:
