Do you have a go to die that you use again and again? For me that die is the Note Pocket Die. It is so simple and yet so versatile.
Today I am going to show you how to make the Note Pocket Die stand up and hold a pen. I felt this was best shared in a video, you can view that below. First let me show you the finished project.
To create the Standing Note Pocket you will need:
1 Die Cut Note Pocket
1 piece cut at 7-3/4" x 3-1/4 (+1/16) score this at 1/2", 5-1/4", 6-1/4", and 7-1/4" to create the stand
1 piece cut at 3/4" x 2-1/4" for the pen holder
To create the mini Note Pad you will need:
Approximately 20 sheets of notebook paper cut to 2-3/4" x 4-1/4"
1 sheet of card stock cut to 2-3/4" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" and score again at the next 1/16" line and again at the next 1/16" line to make 3 very close score lines in a row, allowing the paper to fold down over the top of the tablet of paper easily.
1 piece of printed paper cut at 1" x 2-1/2"
Approximately 18" of twine
To create the decorative clips you will need:
(2) 1" circles
1 Jumbo Paper clip
Liner Tape
4 small foam squares
Decorate the front of the note pocket as you like I used the Magical Unicorn stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey found in the new Bloom This Way Catalog. Get your own copy of the Bloom This Way Catalog HERE.
