Today I am sharing the Storybook Occasions stamp set, just released by Fun Stampers Journey in their Bloom This Way Catalog.
I have made a few cards with this set and find the characters have timeless quality to them. I love that this set can be used for several occasions and holidays.
I used the little chick image for this pocket card. Why not start making Easter projects!?!
I colored the image with the Journey Color Burst pencils. I love the blendability of these colored pencils. They go on so smoothly. I have yet to try a blending solution like Gamisol with them. I just use the Color Burst Blender nub to blend and soften my coloring.
The papers I used on this card are from the Spring Filled Prints pack, also just released in the Bloom This Way catalog. I am in love with the two plaid prints in this collection. And who doesn't need a cloud background! I am planning on putting a small and more flat chocolate bunny in this pocket before I give it out at easter time.
