Are you the kind of mom who likes to do theme birthday parties. Well, I am that mom. I like to take a theme and RUN with it! I've done SO MANY birthday party themes for my girls, several of which are documented here on my blog, most of them in fact. So, when I got the Build-A-Super stamp set as part of the collection Fun Stampers Journey wanted me to design a display for the idea came easily to me to create at Birthday Party ensemble for a Super Girl themed party.
And a banner is always on the top of the list of things I must create for a birthday party. I have made a banner for all my girls birthday parties! I have this grand idea that on my girls 16th birthday I will hang up all the banners I have made for her for all her birthdays. I'll keep you posted on that, only 3 years away for Samantha!!!
What do you think of the Super Girl banner? I made 3 different super girls on it. Now, you know when I say Super Girl, I don't mean the actual SUPER GIRL, I mean super as in all girls are super. Like this girl who's super power is being 13 and moody and cute and has to listen to music because what she use to love is lame and now is not sure what else to do. Did I mention my daughter Samantha is 13??? But, every once in while there is a smile and a, "Mom, I need you" and she surprises us all by being super helpful! And of course her skirt is TOO short!!!
Then there is the FIERCE super girl, saving the world from injustice! Speaking of that did you see my scrapbook page of my friend Lynn?
And we all need a super fairy to take care of all the things we thing are little but really add up to be a lot. Some might call her MOM.
I'm starting to think I need to hang this banner up at my birthday party! Wouldn't that be a fun party! Speaking of fun, I had so much fun making my display for this stamp set.
Please let me know if you have any questions on how I made this banner, I love to talk about my creations!
Thank you for letting me share my art with you! Have an amazing Monday and take time to make something.
Only three days left to get your January Coach Collective.
