I am excited to be sharing with you one of the projects that I got to demonstrate at the Fun Stampers Journey convention in June. It is a new way to use the Card Carrier Die. Just using one panel, I turned it into a pencil holder. The one I am sharing with you today, I decorated for my 10 year old daughters friends. So, Unicorns, of course!
First up you should see the bag that the Card Carrier Bag is intended to make. See it HERE.
I have also shared with you how to make a Flat Card Carrier Bag. See that HERE.
An on this post I show you how to make the bag wider. See how HERE.
Now, let me show you how to make this pencil holder.
You need to die cut just one of the large die pieces from the Card Carrie Die set.
Next you need to cut off the gusset, we do not need that to make this bag.
Now we need to fold this piece in half, well, almost half, up to the score line, like this...
Open this up and cut away half of the bottom flap.
If you want to stamp it, now is the time to do so, Then flip it over and glue it closed.
First glue the two flaps together, then glue it closed.
The are easy to make, therefore why not make several, right!
Below you can watch the making of the Card Carrier Pencil Holder, and as a BONUS I show you how to make Clear Sparkle embossing powder with items you might just have on hand! It's what I used to make the unicorn circle sparkle!
NOTE: In the video I used Bubble Gum Silk and in the project pictures on this post I used Sparkle Silk, I felt like that looked better with the end result.
Here is a list of all the products I used to make the Card Carrier Pencil Holder. Click on any image to shop it in my online store.
Be sure to check back tomorrow when I share with you something else you can do with the Card Carrier Pencil Holder!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Please let me know if I can help you out with anything or if you have any questions.
