I don't know about you but this whole idea of a Friendsgiving Party is starting to grow on me! And today's DIY popcorn box project is the perfect party favor for such a get together.
The box it's self is made using a die and printed paper. And this printed paper is so darn cute, you don't really need to dress up the box is you need a quick box. All you need is; The Popcorn Box Die, A Die Cutting Machine, Printed Paper and Glue.
If you do want to dress up your box, I suggest a fun fall stamp set with cute sentiments, like the one I used on this box, Thankful Friends. As soon as I saw this set I knew it would be one I would use many times for several different occasions. You could use it for Fall, Halloween, Christmas and Winter.
I stamped several of the image from this set, die cut them out and dress up this box with them and a few strips of paper and a die cut heart. Pretty easy really.
To fill it, found a DEAL at the dollar store, a three pack of Cracker Jacks! I poured that into a flat bottom, gusseted cellophane bag. I tied it shut with some satin ribbon and added an acorn, an image from the same stamp set. And so the bag would sit up a little higher in the box I added a bit of "scrunchie paper", that filler paper strands that is... scrunchie, you know that gift basket filler paper stuff, I call it Scrunchie Paper.
So, are you ready to throw a Friendsgiving Party???
